To counter the recent claims made by the Ghana Crime Officer that Tonto was the aggressive one in the relationship, the actress has shared another photo of bruises allegedly inflicted on her by Oladunni Churchill while they were still together.

She went on to warn him to desist from smearing her name, revealing that she has more evidence to prove he battered her and will not hesitate to make them public if he continues to spread lies about her. She wrote;

"Domestic violence is a scourge in the world. In Africa especially,this evil is rampant. African traditions preach & teach the almost absolute submission of the wife to the husband or the husband’s almost ownership of the wife. Hence, to the uninformed & uneducated woman,domestic violence is easily accepted as a norm,this is precisely the reason why domestic violence is rampant in our society. It is therefore obvious that one of the most effective ways to curb this scourge is to inform and educate people; l/we must create the awareness of the wrongness of this act, with a view of solving this problem permanently.I dnt take for granted that God has made me a voice. He has blessed me with means & a celebrity status.

"Most of all, I am a strong Christian. Our Christian faith encourages us to use the gifts given to us by God for the benefit of others. I also have come to learn & realise,that God allows us to experience things so that on the long run we can help others avoid or survive similar experiences. Barrack and Michelle Obama share inspiring letter to mark International Women's Day

Barrack Obama and Michelle Obama celebrated International Women's Day yesterday by sharing a letter the former US First lady received from a female fan. The letter which came in the mail just a day after the former US President and First Lady left the White House was only seen by the couple after they returned from their vacation.

Before sharing the letter titled "I'm in", Barrack shared a short note to accompany it. He wrote;

“When Michelle and I came back from vacation, we found this note from a woman named Sindhu waiting for us. I’m proud of Michelle for the difference she made in this young woman’s life, and I’m inspired by Sindhu’s story — so I thought I’d share it with you today.”

In her letter, Sindhu wrote about the very first time she met Michelle, Twenty-one years ago, and how Michelle got her fired up to make something out of her life. At the time she did not know Michelle and never guessed the same woman would go on to become the First Lady of the United States.

“One day in Fall 1996, an idealistic 17-year old Indian girl was inspired while sitting in a chapel. She didn’t remember the name of the woman who spoke. But she will never forget the fire that was lit to make something of her life, and to use that life to serve others. That week, she signed up to be a volunteer at the hospital and signed up for an after-school program teaching creative writing and literature for underserved children in the community," Sidhu wrote.

She continued: “Twenty-one years later, that girl is now a 38-year old woman, a bit older in body, sometimes a bit jaded, but much younger in spirit. That woman fires up medical students to be passionate about behavioral sciences and psychiatry, serves children and adults struggling with mental illness, and continues an after-school outreach program to teach 6th graders about how to care for their mental health. That torch lit as a freshman at the University of Chicago continues to be ablaze.”

“That 17-year old was me,” Sindhu added. “I later found out that the inspirational powerhouse of a woman who spoke was Michelle Obama.”

Sindhu went on to thank the Michelle for helping her evolve from an obedient teenager to a strong woman with high standards who advocates for herself. Today, Sindhu is married to an “Indian feminist man” and the couple is raising a feminist 3-year-old son “whose middle name is Atticus and who thinks he is actually Thomas the train.”

She concluded the letter with:

“The events from this week, this amazing Women’s March, echoed globally that the expectations I have are not ones I hold in isolation. I want a different world. I need a different world. So when you get back from your vacation, I wanted to let you know. I’m in.”

Michelle Obama spent International Women's Day 2017 visiting female students at a Washington, D.C., middle and high school. The students were surprised by her presence and some of them gasped

“Oh my God!” when they saw her and Michelle replied in her usual cheerful manner, saying;

Did you know? You didn’t know,”

She shared a photo of herself with the excited girls and captioned it;

In what many have termed the most heroic act yet by a Nigeria clergyman, Dr. Chris Okafor, the General overseer of Mountain of Liberation and Miracle Ministries, a.k.a Liberation City has truly caused a profound upset to both the political and religious establishment in Nigeria by his fiery admonitions during Sunday service at his church.

 The Oracle of God, as he’s fondly called literally went nuclear when he angrily chastised the church leadership in Nigeria and wondered why they are so quiet in the face of mounting confusion, recession, destruction, oppression and killing of Christians in most parts of the country.

The fiery preacher accused most of the leading pastors who should be speaking out against injustice and bad governance of taking bribes like money and oil wells from the government hence their inability to defend Christianity and the masses.

In a video that is now going viral on the Internet, Dr. Chris Okafor called out some big men of God when he angrily yelled, “SHAME UNTO PASTOR TUNDE BAKARE!” Then he preceded, “FATHER MBAKA, WHAT HAS HAPPENED TO YOU?”

According to the man of God, Pastor Tunde Bakare was one of those who led the Save Nigeria (SNG) group to occupy Lagos while protesting so called bad governance under former president Jonathan, and was also a very vocal critic of that government. He wondered why Pastor Bakare has gone so silent even when it’s obvious that Nigeria now has a government that is far worse than the one he protested against. Speaking further on pastor Tunde Bakare, the man of God thundered, “That Pastor is a two-faced Pastor!”

On Father Ejike Mbaka, the man of God accused him of disqualifying former President Goodluck Jonathan’s administration probably because, as alleged, he requested certain favors from that Government but was turned down. The man of God wondered why Father Mbaka who openly told the world that President Buhari was the messiah has now gone so silent, and is shamefully unable to even criticize his regime in the face of gross misconduct and bad governance. Blowing hot, he said “Mbaka, go and examine your prophetic ministry”. He said that for Father Mbaka to now complain that people are dying of hunger and still find it difficult to criticize the government of the day simply makes him a hypocrite. He then went on to ask, “What has happened to you, Father Mbaka?”

The man of God did not spare the General Overseers of The Redeemed Christian Church of God when he made a veiled reference to the Redeemed Christian Church of God pastor who was killed during a morning cry session on the outskirts of Abuja and how the church played it down. At this he also wondered why the Vice President, Prof. Yemi Osinbajo who is a pastor, has done so little to help. He also wondered why the General Overseer of Deeper Life Church has been quiet even when members of his church have taken a lot of hit from the massacre of Christians that has been ongoing.

Finally, the man of God also referenced the killing of one Imo State born Christian woman who was a few months ago beheaded in the Northern part of Nigeria. He then said “we also need to know if Rochas Okorocha is a Christian or a Muslim, because those people killed are from Imo State and he did nothing”.

The man of God said that if Christian leaders were speaking out and doing what they were supposed to be doing, we wouldn’t have a country where the rule of law means nothing and the government doesn’t even respect court orders. According to him “ why should Nnadi Kanu still be in detention when the court has given orders for his release? Why can’t they obey the court orders first, and then follow due process? Also, we know Dasuki may have done some things but if the court said you should release him, then release him, and let him have his time in court!” He then went on to say that “as a matter of fact, the Government should release Kanu with immediate effect! We must obey the court and stop taking laws into our own hands!”

UK police discovers Cannabis valued at $1.2 million in a bunker

On Thursday, Police in the United Kingdom discovered a large cannabis factory after raiding a nuclear bunker.The value of the crop they recovered was estimated at over £1 million ($1.2 million).

Police in the county of Wiltshire say they arrested six people during a midnight raid on RGHQ Chilmark, an underground nuclear bunker built in the 1980s to protect government officials and local dignitaries in case of a nuclear attack.

While the site is no longer owned by the UK's Ministry of Defense, the bunker is intact and the nuclear blast doors remain in place. After receiving intelligence about the operation going on in the nearly impenetrable bunker, police said they waited outside for three people to leave and then detained them, using their keys to gain entry. 

Inside, police said they found three more people, believed to be operating as gardeners along with several thousand cannabis plants at various stages of growth. 

 Detective Inspector Paul Franklin, of the Dedicated Crime Team said in a statement that

 'there are approximately 20 rooms in the building, split over two floors, each 200 ft long and 70 feet wide. Almost every single room had been converted for the wholesale production of cannabis plants, and there was a large amount of evidence of previous crops. This was an enormous set up. At this early stage of the investigation it is almost impossible to work out how many plants are inside, but we are talking thousands rather than hundreds'.

FG sacks all directors at NCAA

The Federal government has ordered the immediate sack of all directors in the Nigerian Civil Aviation Authority (NCAA). The letter of their dismissal was issued from the Ministry of Transport.

Confirming the dismissals to newsmen, the general manager of NCAA, Sam Adurugboye, said the reason for the sack was however not stated in the letter.


“It is true that the directors have been disengaged but I don’t have details of the reasons given for the action by the ministry,” he said.

Those affected include Alhaji Salawu Ozigi (Director of Finance and Accounts), Dr Joyce Nkemakolam (Director of Aerodrome and Airspace Standards), Mr Aba Ejembi (Director of Administration) and Mr Emmanuel Ogunbami (Director of Licensing), Mr Benedict Adeyileka (Director of Airworthiness), Mr Justus Wariya (Director of Air Transport Regulation), Alhaji Adamu Abdullahi (Director of Consumer Protection), Capt. Ayodele Sasegbon (Director of General Aviation), and Mr Austin-Amadi Ifeanyi (Director of Human Resources).
